In 1994, Barry King and his associates formed King Architects, Inc. (KAI) to provide quality Architectural/Engineering services to the Southwest Louisiana and Southeast Texas areas. We are a Louisiana owned and managed Architectural firm headquartered in Westlake, Louisiana.

Mr. King has practiced Architecture for over 40 years and the KAI staff has over 100 years combined experience.
​
Throughout Mr. King's professional career, he has established a quality firm that has the expertise and diversification to supply a high caliber of Architectural Services for any commercial or residential project, regardless of size.

KAI has been involved in a wide range of projects including commercial, educational, recreational, municipal, industrial, aviation related and religious projects. Over the past thirty-five years, Barry King and KAI have provided design services for projects totaling approximately $550 million in construction costs for commercial projects.

OWNER / PRINCIPAL ARCHITECT
BARRY KING
Mr. King has practiced Architecture for 43 years. He graduated from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette, in 1977, with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Barry is a licensed architect in the states of Louisiana and Texas.
PROJECT MANAGER
JACK CLARK
Jack has over 20 years experience in the construction industry, with 10 years of that time being a Company Owner and/or Project Manager.
SENIOR DESIGNER
BYRON CHRISTIAN
Jimmy has 30 years experience in the Architectural field. He graduated from Palm Beach State College in Florida in Architecture. He is also an NCARB Member.

WESTON KING
Weston studied Architecture at University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He has over 10 years experience at King Architects, Inc. working with AutoCAD and Revit.

CONNIE JOHNSON
Connie has 15 years experience in drafting. She graduated from Sowela Technical College with her Associates Degree in Architectural Drafting & Design Technology.
PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR
RAEGAN CULPEPPER
Raegan studied Interior Design and Accounting at McNeese State University. She has over 25 years experience at KAI. She provides all project administrative duties from construction documents to submittal management.
OFFICE MANAGER / BOOKKEEPING
TANYA GAUDET
Tanya has an Associates Degree in Accounting from Sowela Technical College. She has over 30 years experience in Accounting. She furnishes all in-house financial needs.
