Recreation District One, Ward Four (Calcasieu Parish Police Jury) commissioned KAI to provide a facility large enough to house the programs offered by the recreation to the Westlake tax payers at a "no cost" use.

The state of the art recreational structure provides indoor racquetball, a jogging track, natatorium, aerobics, a juice cafe, an elevator, as well as, the board's administration offices and conference room.

It has aided the surrounding community with its youth, adults and senior citizens by providing a common core.
