Recreation District One, Ward Four is constructing a significant amusement complex for the citizens of Westlake, Louisiana. It will house a water park involving flume slides, a spray pad for the younger children, a lazy river, a 25 meter Olympic style pool, a therapeutic pool, a covered pavilions, concession stands, restrooms and lockers. The amusement complex will also contain a butterfly garden, new and renovated ball fields, a walking path, several BBQ pavilions, and much needed additional parking.

Miller & Associated Development Co Inc has been awarded the Contract for this project. The Notice to Proceed is dated 04.06.2022.
